Let's talk about the "why" behind all of this—I'm going to share with you a little about me (Tell my story), (Tell Steve's – Founder's story), (Tell Active Webinar System story), and specifically why Pxch is so important in the world right now.
I've been in sales for 36 years, but I failed my first 12 years in direct sales. I was an introvert, I was shy, and I had zero skills. I was not coachable. My first mentor was Ronny and he told me that I needed to get training. So I went all of the big names trainings in the 80/90's like, Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, Brian Tracy, Les Brown and everyone else, but 12 years later, I was $70k in debt and only making $5k a month. Then I found a mentor named Kevin, who had created $5 billion in the infomercial industry. I invested $10k with him, and he finally taught me the reality of the direct sales industry.
I took those skills to Aflac, made $100k, and built a duplication system. Then I went to Nouveau Riche and did $1.4 million in 14 months selling a $20k product. We were the fastest-growing team in the company. When 2009 hit, I started coaching, charging $10k a head from 2010 until Covid hit in 2020. During that time, I focused on my ministry, leading in Africa, India, and 100 countries worldwide.
I still do one-on-one coaching today for $4,000, where I teach a one-call close in 24 hours from a 100% cold market through online networking. That is exactly what I'll be training the team that comes aboard with us to do—for free.

My mentor taught me that direct sales and marketing are two different things. Marketing and direct sales are about as equivalent as radio and television. They're both media. They both work, but they're dramatically different.
That would be like all the TV infomercial guys trying to teach radio how to do radio. That doesn't make sense. People that are professionals in radio teach people how to do radio. People that are professionals in direct sales… teach direct sales. Direct sales and marketing are separate.
Making a presentation and getting them to buy is two different issues. We teach conversion.
We are solving two massive problems that did not exist in the 80s through the 2000s. In those days we did direct sales — and it worked.
This is why marketing doesn't work in direct sales:
It's not that the industry or marketing your product doesn't work. It's that the industry and social media has become saturated with marketing in a direct sales world.
Online marketing just began in the last 15 years. It has a great buzzword. It sounded really good. So guess what everybody's doing? They are trying to do marketing in a direct sales world.
Most people have not learned the 7 skills it takes to make it in direct sales. They've learned sales, they've learned to follow up. They've learned some marketing ideas. They've learned graphic design. They've learned websites. They've learned all this stuff — but they have not learned the skill of direct sales.
I was buying marketing materials. I did all the things that everybody told me to do. After 12 years of doing that, I was $70,000 in debt because I would go to those weekend seminars all the time, spend all my money, but I couldn't make more than $5,000 a month.
In direct sales, you can do some type of marketing — but most people are being sold on a lot of things that don't work, or they're very expensive and take a lot of time and money to make them work.
Back in the 80s through the 2000s, this is what direct sales looked like:
But since social media and online marketing arrived, everyone is being sold "Marketing" in a "Direct Sales" world. Direct sales and marketing are as different as a TV infomercial and the radio — they both work, but they are different.
The fortune is NOT in the follow-up in direct sales. The fortune is in the closing and asking for the money.
Back in the day when I sold cars, there was no such thing as a "be-back." Ain't nobody coming back. If they don't buy today, they ain't going to buy — because if they don't buy today, they're probably going to find another dealership just like them.
We were taught: customers are not looking for a car, they are looking for a salesperson.
If you're a coach or a business person and they don't make a sale with you today, if you don't do a ton of follow-up, they're going to find 15 other people that look just like you saying the same story. That's why the follow-up game is so hard for people.
Pitch is an effective tool to help people get back to direct sales — not to the follow-up game, chasing people around, sending invoices, and spending all this time following up and following up and following up.
What Pitch is doing is giving network marketers and direct salespeople the ability to close the sale without having to chase people around anymore.
Let's look at a few use cases, starting with the insurance industry.
I was a sales rep at Aflac—you know, the company with the duck. The Aflac reps have to generate leads by cold calling or knocking on doors, then make a presentation to the owner. After that, they have to enroll the employees into up to 10+ different products, one at a time. It takes hours or days to enroll a whole company, and that's the problem we solve.

Let's say I'm talking to 20 employees. Normally, I would need to go to their office, and meet with them in a group meeting to survey them then I still would need to meet each employee one-at a time. Sometimes that can take hours and sometimes days to complete.
